Babbette's Seeds of Hope: Fields of Gold
Babbette's sunflowers are in bloom! If you aren't familiar with the story behind these beautiful fields of gold, this sunflower field is planted every year near Eau Claire in memory of Babbette who lost her fight to cancer in 2014. In honor of her and all those who have fought similar battles, Babbette's family has planted sunflowers every year since her passing. The sunflowers are typically in bloom from mid through late August, so make sure you plan a trip quick! The fields are open 24/7 to the public and there is no entry fee required. However, there is a donation fund set up through the Eau Claire Community Foundation if you'd like to donate to the cause. Learn more about Babbette, the field location and how to donate at the following links! Details »
