2023: A Year in Review
Hello Friends!

From all of us at Visit Eau Claire; Happy New Year! After three record breaking years in tourism for the Chippewa Valley, 2023 was no different. Though official data is still a few months away, preliminary numbers show that we are on pace for our best year in tourism yet. We do have one number that is official; we had over 1.26 million visitors to our website in 2023. For comparison, we finished with just under 1 million website visitors last year, and pre-pandemic we had less than what we grew in just this year!

We are thrilled to witness the incredible hard work and energy that all of you invest in bringing visitors to our area and making it a special place to live. We consistently hear from our visitors about our remarkable communities and the unique businesses and events within them. More than anything, we hear about the special people living and working here being one of the main reasons people love to return over and over again. Thank you to all of you for the long hours and the hard work, and thank you for doing it with the kindness and patience that you do. We've demonstrated as a community and region that marketing makes a difference, collaboration greatly enhances it, but the people make it shine.

As much as I love sharing how well you've done, it's time to buckle up for 2024. This year is going to be one for the ages with some incredible events and projects coming to fruition, and some incredible things to be announced.

As always, we're here to help, so reach out if you need anything. Love you all, let's make this our best year yet!
