Visit Eau Claire is excited to announce that Luke Alexopoulos, Senior Public Relations Manager, has been selected as one of Destination International's 30 Under 30 recipients for the Class of 2024! With a background in communication and journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Luke started his career with Visit Eau Claire as an intern and later accepted a full-time position in 2021. As Senior Public Relations Manager, Luke's role includes pitching and securing influencer partnerships, writing and sending press releases, creating itineraries and arrangements for travel writers/journalists, and coordinating all public relations efforts. Luke had a major role in organizing TBEX (Travel Blog Exchange), an annual conference bringing together creators, brands, and destination marketing organizations, which was hosted in Eau Claire in July 2023. He has hosted numerous media trips & influencers, and he continues to keep Eau Claire relevant in major publications like Midwest Living Magazine and Reader's Digest.
