The Visit Eau Claire Board of Directors is delighted to announce the appointment of Kenzi Havlicek as the Executive Director, effective immediately. Havlicek has been serving as the Interim Executive Director and brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her new role.
Becky Squires, Chair of the Visit Eau Claire Board of Directors, expressed her enthusiasm for Havlicek’s appointment, "Kenzi’s passion for the Chippewa Valley and her extensive experience within our organization make her the ideal leader for Visit Eau Claire. We are confident that under her direction, we will continue to thrive and promote this beautiful area with unmatched dedication and creativity."
Havlicek, an Iowa State University graduate with a degree in Business Marketing, began her journey with Visit Eau Claire in 2010 as an intern. Over the past 14 years, she has held various positions within the organization, including Social Media Specialist, Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing, and Deputy Director. Her exceptional contributions were recognized in 2013 when she received the prestigious Destination International 30 Under 30 Award, highlighting her as a standout in the tourism industry.
Havlicek’s commitment to promoting the Chippewa Valley, a place she proudly calls home, has been evident throughout her career. Her leadership and vision are poised to take Visit Eau Claire to new heights, fostering growth and showcasing the region’s unique charm and attractions.
